I made it to San Francisco. My flight left Houston at 7am, which meant getting up at 5, which meant getting about 2 hours of sleep. When I landed, I had to go pretty much straight to the bridal shower, after which I headed to Berkeley to meet tarigwaemir (who has been kind enough to let me crash) and her awesome boyfriend Steve.

Took my mom out to eat sushi for dinner today. It was mucho delicious, although we went to Kirin, which is a buffet, and buffets are kind of wasted on us because neither of us are capable of eating very much in general. My sister came over today. It was the first time I'd seen her in... five months? We'd talked on the phone and stuff, but yeah. It was sort of awkward.
